Top 5 exercises

If you could pick 5 exercises to do for the rest of your life to get strong and jacked every where what would they be?

Mine are as follows

Olympic squats: These are tough and I think the extra quad strength they develop transfers more to other things like heavy carrys and stone lifts than a low bar. Also due to my recurring back issues the higher bar causes less torso flexion and doesnt seem to aggravate it any further (touch wood)

Deadlifts: I suck at them. If you are a strong puller your overall strength levels are generally much higher as well. Double overhand style too, to build that monster grip

BTN or millitary press: I think overhead strength can get neglected by a lot of powerlifters. Throwing up weights over your head is fun and I think there is a big carry over to your raw bench when your numbers start climbing.

Bench press: You never know when you will need to push something heavy off your chest.

Weighted chins/pullups: These look cool when you can start throwing some real weight around and work the upper back pretty hard. If you could do 2xbw for sets of 10 you would have monster upperback and arm strength!

Maybe I might get even lazier and just work these 5 exercises lol

Squat

Deadlift

Push press

Clean and jerk

Pulldowns/Chins

 At 320lb+ Can u actually do a reasonable set of chins bro?

I'm terrible at them, I just do lat pull downs more for the injury risk in chins, but I can do about 6 at 150k. With my past shoulder issues I just seem to have a weak point just passed halfway up.

That said, I have a mate who did 13 at 160k...freaky. Dan Harrison, its on youtube.

TT...Yes, push press with less leg drive would double for adding shoulder and tri development. That said, I bench more often now.

Clean and jerk for max weight and cardio on rep sets.

Not that I'd ever restrict myself to 5 exercises.

I say I would do all these awesome compound exercises but the truth is I would probably just do shoulder press, chins, bb curls, tricep pushdowns and standing calf raises. All I want to maintain is arms, delts, bit of back and calves. Singlet and boardies body!!
