Flu like symtoms or CNS

Manged to crank up my deads and squats this week and max out more than normal in both sessions.

Completely shagged when I get home and head off to the sack early. Feel munted at work the next day and late in the day develop flu like symptoms. Sort of like the cold shakes, sweating a bit more etc.

Would this be my CNS telling me something.

Anyone had this?

Yeah man, I get that sometimes... not as much these days because I have a better handle on how much my body can handle. I find that if I don't sleep well on the same day as my workouts I feel exactly as you describe.

Just a couple of days ago I had that. I think Jack3d was the culprit... bloody stuff is like crack. Yesterday I felt completely screwed up and wasn't able to eat much.

I also get some kind of inflammatory response where I get these inflamed red spots. The immune system gets overly stressed.

I used to even train in that state... these days... if I'm feeling like that... it's a mandatory rest day. I don't get sick as much anymore since I've been doing that.

Good shit on the PB's though! Worth the pain sometimes. 8)
