Anti-depressants, Do they effect weight gain?

Does anybody know whether antidepressants effect your training and weight loss. People have told me that it could be a waste of time doing all of my training because of the medication I'm taking. What do you reckon??

Different medications can effect weight gain & loss yes & dependant on what you're currently taking as some anti-depresants can cause weight gain & make it more difficult to loose weight but by no means will it make it imposiable to achieve your goals!

SSRI's tend to hinder fat loss & have a tendancy to make the user put on a bit more fat than usual.
