Eggs, Whey, Milk, Mince, Cottage Cheese, Tinned Fish (tuna/salmon - Mackerel if you're hardcore) and whatever meat is on special. Oats are also quite high in protein for a carb source, and extremely cheap.

This

Whey is probably going to be your cheapest source in $/gram of protein as long as you don't buy the expensive ones

Hearts, as in beef and lamb hearts. Cheap Cheap.

We did some chicken hearts with garlic butter on the BBQ last weekend and they were good!

Lean high in protein and dog food prices \:D/

So where can one buy beef and lamb hearts? What is the macro content?

Nutritiondata.com has beef hearts at the following per 100g

Fat 4g

Carb 0g

Protein 19g

Get em from the supermarket or butcher. Might have to ask for them specifically

In that vein (see what I did there? ) liver's also a good option. Not the tastiest, but there are some decent recipes out there to make it more pallatable.

Also, Countdown's the place to be this week, beef mince $5.49/kg and Sealord tuna $1.64/can for the win.

Sealord stuff as well, which imo is the best out of all the tunas ive tried. The old woolworths brand was trash, smelt like rotten fish.

Great snack, 2min noodles(baked not fried so low in fat) Can of tuna and a couple of eggs. Quick easy and high in protein.
