Reverse Hack Squats... thoughts please

Recommended Posts

I like them, I do them nice and slow and even go relatively heavy sometimes. Different feel from SLDs. The only thing I don't like about them is that they give me a really sore neck because of the angle my heads sit in the machine, but I have a few issues with my neck anyways.

When training for strength sports I would use reverse hacks as a Deadlift assistance exercise, using a narrow (DL-like) stance.

Will be adding in as a hammy movement on ocassion now (needed some fresh ideas!).

These are great on a standing hack squat machine if yr lucky enough to have one at yr gym. The old CF Moorhouse had a nice one, Nautilus I think :D
