Self Pinning

How many of ya'll pin yourselves and what sites do you use?

My mate Dave (srs) is looking at his first cycle but doesnt trust anyone with this info that can help him pin. Hes pretty inflexible so pinning his arse would be tricky, what are the sites that would be best to use for the self pin situation, quads n delts?

Please aware so I can aware Dave

Wondered if you were serious tt for a minute :D then realised you were. Just start with the lateral head of the delt. That is the middle head on the shoulder. Use a 23 or 25g 1" pin. Find the central part of the muscle & jab at 90Deg to the skin surface area. Follow proper injection proceedure which has been discussed on this site many times if you care to search.

Can I just add...great standard place to pin but I have 2 issues with it.

I pin a bit too and even leaning against a wall I find one-handed pinning a pain. The hand shakes as u try and press down the plunger, or your your hand moves and the needle goes in or out.

Another is...when I dieted down for a show I notice a freak'n big vein running horizontal across the delt...in the middle! Thres no others just this one. So I pin slightly above the middle now.

I much prefer Quads so I can use 2 hands, one to hold the barrel and needle still, the other to plunge.

Other than that many do as musclenz has said as well. I do too sometimes

Quads are king. I imagine a line between knee and hip, and then pin in the area to the ham side from halfway up. Some sweet as spots there. But I have done it all over that outer side.

That's how I do it, Dave.

Glutes are tricky for me. So unsteady, and ends up being a one hand mission, and a cramped neck.

Dr's don't aspirate when doing any injections just curious how many of u guys do?

Also a tip I picked ip years ago from pro is to run your barrel with gear in it under hot water for a few seconds or so before injecting

Makes it far easier to go in if you have a hard time mainly for prop back in the day I guess

Bros, I keep mine under a towel on the heater rail in the bathroom. A folded towel is all that is needed put th ebarrel between layer 1 & 2. Put in before a shower, and it is ready when I get out. Silky warmth...

Nice on the aspirating boys, I must be old school as just wack it in. Quads are nasty, used to do them but funny couldn't imagine it now it used to piss me off hitting nerves than backing out and re doing. But I thought it really helped bring my quads up at the time

What are your thoughts, u think it helps ie site injection and no I don't mean swelling and prop

I pinned in my quads on my first cycle and it was fine. Hit a nerve once and my leg kicked out from under me.. On my second cycle now and pinning in my delts. Feels much better than my quads, less pain and less soreness after. With my quads I limped for a day or so afterwards.
