How do you eat sweet potatoes?

Peel them cut them up chunky put them in the oven to they get like roasted. Can add oil and/or cinnamon is quite nice (leave oven door slightly open for 5 mins at the end)

Boil them for 10 - 15 minutes or untill soft, drain and mash. (add feta cheese and/or corriander for extra awesome, if your diet allows)

or buy the 97% sweet potato chips and have them in the oven! (door open again for 5 mins at end)

or you can make your own sweet potato chips by peeling and cutting a sweet potato and frying off the chips untill they are brown then covering the pan with a lid for 5 mins or so...

That's all I can think of atm.

Steam them!

Cut them into small pieces first

Steam them on a high heat to start with then turn the heat down to low and leave it to steam for 5-10mins depending on how soft you want them.

+1.

I do the whole bag as I quite like them cold for mid-day meals. Just love those orange suckers.

What everyone here said, however if you want them cooked in the fastest way possible, cut into small slices/wedges, put in a pyrex jug, cover with boiling water from the kettle and then immediately nuke on high for 5 mins. Then you can season/mash/whatever.

Roasted until caramelised is the best though :)

Slice them into 1cm slices, and bake them in the same grille as I do the steak and chicken. If you do it in baking paper, soooooo easy!

4-5 min per batch, they keep well in the fridge for a couple of days, makes carbs for lunches easy and a nice change from rice.

You can always throw the cooked slices in the oven with a little olive oil and bake them again for chips.
