Testing your gear

has anyone ever had there gear tested by a lab to see the make up of it?

Just a thought as I was looking at doing, anyone know where to go or what the charge is

In welly so would prefer local, can you even do it or would they ring police etc

Testing is vey expensive 600-100 dollars and even then they can't tell you much.

Why do you want to get it tested? Use it and test it that way.

I'm sure ESR can test for you, or some other private lab with GCMS & micro lab. They will be able to tell you the compounds & concentrations present as well as the bacterial load of the sample (inb4UGlabinbathroominfections!)

In getting the referral from the GP, is it just as easy as asking for test levels to be checked?

My GP is a prude and wont give out shit and really opinionated so just ask to check test levels or anything else while at it? I understand the test costs but not a great deal so may aswell get other things checked also
