Well run show as always, 60 plus competitors from all over NZ including a team from The Environment.

Mike Debenham was announced the new event organiser for Christchurch taking over from Jean Scott.

Yes, I heard via of the judges at the event that Daniel Hibbs is a tremendous prospect and was a real find at the show!

Knowing Jean's ability I'm sure it was a very successful show and it's a real shame that it was her last one. But it's great to have someone of Mike's ability and experience to take over - also on the Executive and as a test judge.

So, Musculo, did you help out at the show - and if so, are you tempted to get back into event organising yourself?

Yes was Jean's right hand assistant, helping out all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Would love to be back to event organising but I have a few other projects I am working on for next year. Will be there to help Mike out if he want/needs it.

Not for next year but the following year, would like to get a NZ team together to go to Craigs show in Bedigo next year, good international experience for us. I have talked to Craig about doing something similar here.
