Getting Ripped Without Cardio By Eating Your Carbs At Night

I think if you wanna know about the science he's talking about then research leptin and some of the scientific approaches by Berardi and Lyle mcDonald.

But this the kind of diet I know a fair few BBers do to stay lean year round, and you'll always lose "weight" albeit a lot of water and stored glycogen as well If overall you are cutting carbs lower than you have had, which is easy to do when only have one carb meal a day even if it is in the evening.

Also this would be an awesome diet commercially as you are depleating carbs during the day and doing a load in the evening you'll wake up the next day feeling/looking leaner and dehydrated so you also gotta think about what he thinks people will make of the diet and how it makes him look good regardless of thier long term ability to stick to it :)

I have used this kind of diet, I am not a hardgainer and I can still grow of this kinda diet, however I find it difficult to just lose bf by doing it, it would never make me lose 20lbs in a month just by doing it, even if i was doing cardio and trianing every day I doubt it still would. However someone who finds it difficult to put on muscle may get leaner, but it may impact them putting on mass, I find it difficult to lose bf in general so If I was wanting to cut I'd combine a fair amount of cardio and this kind of carb placement as well. But i could use this placement on its own for a "lean bulk". Basically, it's all about you and how your body responds! :)

Im actually started doing this 2 days ago after struggling on my diet especially since my realtives are down and they cook and ill be fuc&&&ked if i am going to skip on good home cooked meal.so will tell you in a bit especially aince i am trying to lose fat.

The first part of the day is much like the velocity diet on tnation all shakes and flaxseed , gym in the eve and then dinner ,but just smaller portions than usual ,that wAys atleast i eat the food my mum in law cooks

Yea but eating carbs at night goes against pretty much all that I've learned from this sport

Apparently nutrient timing means absolutely nothing, hard to argue that when you look at the conditioning of the people who preach it. So, no, carbs before bed wont make you fat, too many cals will.

He looks good but not that lean, he's not 9% bf he looks at least 11%

if training in the evening how does the carbs at night last the whole day through a physical job and still give energy for workouts?

Excellent question. IMO it's just crazy stuff.

When cutting 80-90% of my carbs are in the hours immediately pre and post workout. other meals have minimal carbs and just enough to keep me ticking along.

Pretty similar when bulking, just that there are a few more carb meals post workout untill about 6pm in the eveing.
