My plan is to get my back squat up a bit over the coming weeks, then switch to box squats. I hope they help my deadlift too.

Good job Drizzt, you should be proud of your gains.

Thanks bro, and cool, will be reading the Wookie log with interest to see how you go

Well, I'm not trying to be an a-hole here but if you're doing 95kg for a single after 6 years of training, benching once a fortnight doesn't seem to be a good idea. I can do 90kg for a single after 1 year of training so...

That's good improvements

How often would you recommend?

depends how long it takes you to recover bro, pretty sure most people can handle once every 7 days

To build a big bench you need to be benching every 2 days.

Ryan Kennely would do:

Monday: Speed bench

Tuesday: Heavy lockouts from mid range

Wednesday: off

Thursday: Floor presses / heavy triceps

Friday: speed bench / heavy shoulders /light triceps

Saturday: heavy lift offs and heavy triceps

Sunday: off - but every day stretching and practise drills with a broom stick

Works well but you need a lot of supps for the joints and recovery

I would be cautious using the word NEED. By the looks he follows a westside philosophy with emphasis on the assistance lifts rather than actual bench.

I know plenty of word class benchers doing 2 per week.

I agree with the base of your point. Bench seems to respond better to volume. That doesnt mean go and do chest every day though. You still need to be smart and have a structured program.
