Hi there all,

Just about to turn 40 and figured that it is time to get into shape (better late than never I suppose). Up until about 10 years ago I was playing competitive sport, stood at 178cm and weighed in at 80kg with about 12% bodyfat. Have no idea what happened since then but currently weigh in at 94kg (well, I actually do know, became lazy as and I think my current 27.7% bodyfat has someting to say about it).

Anyway I reckon its time for a change and look forward to the challenge.

Could swear that I was reading my autobiography from a couple of years ago when I read this ^. I can fully relate to those stats being the same height, similar age and was the same weight.

My two cents would be diet bro, your diet is the key. The sooner you get on to a clean diet and sort out some calorie awareness for your goals the quicker it will happen. :nod:

I have also found that smashing out the traditional compound lifts has done me wonders as well but I wish that I had my diet in check earlier. This site is awesome too (even if you’re a quite observer like me), the info (and banter) on here is very valuable.

Never too late mate \:D/ , just be careful……..Body building and weight lifting is highly addictive :pfft: .
