awesome kid. but one thing (others may disagree) he shouldnt have quit school. sure he is a big shot now, but one injury that stops his shotput career and he has hardly anything to fall back on. not saying people who drop out of school are dumb, but they just have a better knowledge etc etc etc etc etc etc

I half agree. Yeah, he should ideally have something to fall back on, but at the same time, he's pursuing the only thing he wants to do at any cost. Can't fault him there.

Yeah.. these people (not necessarily here, just generally in sports education, coaching circles, teaching PE etc) complaining about the lack of long term athlete development, athletes have nothing to do once they finish sport etc etc. So what? Nothing to stop studying or getting an apprenticeship after they finish their sporting endevours. Just means you get that qual later on, which is the choice you make.

Jacko is a strong little bastard but if he keeps training the way he does his knees will be wrecked by the time he is 20 & the way he jumps up those stairs is just plain stupid.

I had buddies his equal at sixteen but they were all working in the forest - probably not as good at bench but far fitter.

Explain these to me

1. How will he wreck his knees?

2. How is the way he jump down the stairs stupid?

3. Were your gay little friends actually fitter?

4. Could they even shot put over 20 meters then and/or now?
