Hey all,

Figured I'd best post... have been a member on here for a few years, haven't posted as yet as life gets in the way of my goals (re never seem to have the right mindset, lazy) now that's changed, work nextdoor to a 24 hour gym so no excuses (anyone use Anytime Fitness Ric?)... :D

I'm an endo/meso, gain fat around stomach/handles/chest, nowhere else, gain muscle exceedingly fast however lose it to fat just as fast... my diests shiz so I'm looking at using a keto diet of some type (which I've been researching here and on the net for the past two weeks) just waiting until Sunday so that come Christmas day I can eat carbs (they're my killer)... scared shitless of the cravings so I hope to stick this out... 8)

Reason for motivation -

I had hypnotherapy for giving up smoking - it worked \:D/ - then I started vacuuming up everything in sight  , in a month I had made myself around 2 inches larger... as ciggies suppress appetite, and 'helped' deal with cravings beforehand I was sort of left on a boat with a hole and no paddles... middle of the Pacific... internet porn isn't helping as much as it should.. have had 11 years in martial arts experience (BJJ, Judo, various weapons), stopped in '04 no real wish to return to it howver may look at Thai Boxing at some point.. for fitness.

About me -

I'm 32

I'm 95kgs - fat around middle, strong defined legs (I cycle sometimes)

I work in I.T so I'm in front of a computer all day, then alot at night...

Going to start lifting at lunch with p90x cardio/ply on weekends or sometimes at night which I randomly do now..

Cheers :)

strong defined legs ? sounds good  and gratz on quitting smoking

Cheers, and by 'strong and defined' I can see a line up the middle, no fat... though they're very much thinner than those that I've seen on here insofar :P Makes me feel better using the language ;)

I'll post the 'befores' up tonight once I grab someone to take pics..

Hey Dan. Good to see you've stopped lurking and finally said hi. Welcome!

You'll find life does have a tendency to get in the way of your training - but that's life. Bodybuilding is about overcoming that and finding ways around it. And yeah, I know sometimes that's easier said than done. Still, posting here is a good way of keeping yourself motivated.

Thanks Pseud, I noticed you seem quite the authority on here (not just your cheesecake which I attempted btw - turns out I'm not the flashest of cooks - should have mentioned that's a new found hobby too...)

Anyways - I will get to posting soon for comments on my workout and diet, cheers again all :)
