Hi there - I was going to hide and just be a lurker but thought I'd intro myself in case I decided to post one day and everyone thought, who the heck is that?

I'm 23yo mum to a 2.5yo boy and step mum to 5 and 6yo boys. I'm also studying an applied science degree in health and wellness full time. I did a PT cert last year for entry into my degree.

I'll admit, even with my passion for a healthy lifestyle, exercise is a dirty word for me LOL, never stepped foot in a gym. I prefer being 'physically active' - riding horses, running my dog, mountain biking, squash for fun. But after I had Riley, I packed on a MASSIVE amount [25kgs]. I did P90X 18mths ago and lost the majority of the weight, but also moved into town for my study so haven't been able to be as active as I used to be as a country girl. I've only managed to walk my dog for an hour a day since I moved to town.

I saw an article on Rachelle Chase in Fitness Life mag a while ago and thought heck, I want to lose weight - and I want to look like that! So I designed myself a new workout schedule and made plans to achieve some goals over summer [3mths] while I have all the time in the world, before I go back to class, minus running after children. I thought, instead of just losing weight, I want to make some solid goals such as losing FAT, gaining MUSCLE and toning.

Im currently 68kg, 170cm tall, sz 10. I fit my pre-pregs clothes just, but I'm carrying some extra curves. I'm going to have one of my class mates take all my girths and skin folds when she has time, but I started my workout last week anyway. If I'm brave I might post some before and progress photos, eek lol.

Wish me luck! And you might see me around here :pfft:

Hey thanks guys.

Drizzt - not as full on as it used to be, had to lease out all my horses to move to town :(

I Declare War - I couldn't tell you to be honest! Lol. It's a new degree designed by CPIT with two streams - sport science, and health and wellness. I am doing the latter. Check it out...
