Hey guys

So after losing 10kgs and getting down to 90kgs im starting to think about where I want to go to next...

Do I keep on the same programme and continue to lose weight or

Do I start doing some heavy ass lifting and transforming what bulk/lard I have left into the look I want..

Basically I dont want to be lean and ripped, I dont want to be a light weight

I simply want to tighten the edges and be strong..

I still need to lose a fair bit of abb fat but my arms/shoulders are tightning up and my chest is getting flatter and harder..

So do I keep losing as much fat as possible or start turning what bulk I have into muscle?

What's your current programme man?

Also, what are your stats for body fat percentage and height? That'll give us a good idea of where you're at currently and will make it easier to give you good advice.

91kgs

20%bf

x2 1.5 hour boxing per week

2-3 gym sessions per week

gym sessions usually consist of cardio warm up (10-30min) then weights incl abb work.

I know now that im doing the 2 boxing sessions per week, which is real intense I can commit to doing full weight workout on my gym days as the boxing is plenty enough for cardio/core workout.

plus walk the dogs throughout the week for an hour

will upping my weight programme give me good results since ive shed 10kgs of fat over the last 3 months???

It will give good results, as long as you up your weight program in a manageable way. I'd suggest sticking to three workouts per week rather than two, and keep them no longer than one hour weightlifting each if possible. Are your workouts based on compound exercises?

Also look at your eating, try and eat regularly through out the day to avoid loosing the muscle you've gained. It's hard doing this sometimes when you are at work and under stress... but you just have to take time out and eat regularly if you are to make progress. Try and get a good meal down within an hour after training... aim for 100g carbs and about the same in protein after your workout.

my previous post was not serious.

if you want to keep losing weight youve gotta use more energy than the energy you get from your food. You may be able to gain some muscle while doing this but unlikely to be much.

You should already be going hard at the weights, so if youre not, then start doing it.

my eating is pretty good.

Ive been on a specific diet the last month and lost 4.5kgs.

5-6 meals a day

oats/special k yoghurt

pro shake

nutbar/almonds

rice tuna/salmon

fruit

meat/eggs/vege

and its become relitively easy to stick too.

think its time to get a proper weight programme

Oh and just to clear up, I dont want to lose weight necessary, but lose fat, tone and tighten..

if i was to remain the same weight but see my bodyfat % drop I would be happy as larry
