That's interesting wheels.

What do reckon tomsammce, you always seemed to be pretty lean in off season, I would say your body could handle carbs better than mine. Are you a Meso

not at all mate... when i was in 6th form at high school i was still playing 6th grade rugby (U53kg). i would say now thought that my body resembles a meso body type yes... i havnt really done alot of reading on the ecto, endo and meso body types, actually none specifically so my understanding of them is very minimal.

i always eat 1 cup of oats per serving when i eat them, thats about 56g of carbs if your cup is 100gm, but i think techically a cup is around 90 something? i could be wrong. what im doing at the moment is for example if i have 4 cups of oats as my carbs i would eat 2 meals of 2 cups or 8 meals of 1/2cup and i dont believe it would make a difference in my body composition which ever way i did it.. i am currently cutting this way and finding it works great..

however you are alot more serious than i am with regards to bodybuilding and nutrition and i also have never been 3% body fat or any below 5 or 6 so i cant really have an opinion on this method as far as extreme bodybuilding diets go. you say you have tryed both ways and you get ultra lean so i found that interesting.

I would agree that carbs are one of the best carb sources, and you are

cutting with a good amount of carbs and it works. But I believe it works for you because you are in a relative cal deficit and your carbs are spread through the day so your body burns food like a furnace, but only having one cup once a day this is way below what the body needs therefore is in

starvation mode and will hold the carb.

And when having a whole day of eating whatwever the body would act like it does post comp holds all the shit calories, I believe your body would handle a whole day much better and just boost your metabolism, as like i said your in a relative deficit not starving

Hi Legs333, firstly you need to work out your calorie maintenance, this will of course be only an estimate. Then you would create your meal plan based on a calorie deficit or calorie surplus, dependent on weather you want to 'cut' or 'bulk'

to get your total calories, you should get them from a good ratio of carbs, protein and fats. Which will also depend on your goal. Then you find foods which fit your macros then create meals out if them to fit your daily calorie allowance. How you time your meals and how frequently you eat would be up to you.

That's basically it. You can do it yourself or you can pay someone to do it for you which would normally be between $30-$50, which would be well worth if you don't know what your doing, which you obviously don't (no offence)

hope that helps
