Using WPI/powder more than food.

When Im really disiclplined I can go days with not eating, just drinking all my macros and feel awesome, still regular from all the EVOO.

Do you shit liquid?? (srs)

Good question! There's no roughage in that diet. Bluto, how many other meals do you eat every day? i.e. the junk food that you say you like so much.

Na its just normal. Nobody on here ever done a zero carb diet? high fat, same thing you eat hardly any fibre, all the fats keep things moving.

Eskimos live on meat and fat only, zero carbs, very little fibre. They are extremly healthy, very little heart disease.

If you have never tried it you are just guessing.

Most days I dont eat anything just drink shakes. Only eat something, beacuse it tastes good. I might throw in a few bananas or other whole fruits into shakes, so get your fibre there if you need it.

in ben pakulskis DVD he says something and i agree with it. ben says its the steak, fish, chicken etc that makes you huge. he says he sees whey as something that doesnt make you bigger, it just stios you from getting smaller..so can be used if on the go or in a rush etc..

Ive spent years doing steak, fish and chicken only, eating the same amount of protein a day. And it might be better but i personally never noticed any difference. I grow the same on wpi, fruit, evoo. As long as im doing my training and supps right and resting and not drinking or having too many late nights then i grow and stength the same.

If you have the time to cook 2kg of meats every day without fail, thats awesome, i just dont get the time.

seems like some pretty solid broscience. why would whey proteins not make you bigger?

hoping a mod will transfer the relevant comments here from the other thread.

Done. Suppose I'd been away a while and it was time I helped out a little :)

Bluto, very interesting method. I'm a big fan of olive oil myself for adding calories/health reasons. I do love my smoothies and shakes, but I like chewing my food too.

Macros wise it makes great sense, but how about the micronutrients? Do you take an array of multi-vitamins, extra zinc and magnesium etc as well? I wonder whilst following this method, if making sure to eat 200g or so of mixed seeds and nuts would lead to any improvements? Specifically Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds, with Almonds, Walnuts and a few Brazil nuts. Absolutely packed with micronutrients, and would add a slightly different fat profile and some fibre (unnecessary as you say, but wouldn't hurt.)

Thoughts?

I really like organic peanut butter with cocoa and wpi plus glyverin to sweeten.

Coconut oil is good aswell.

Ah okay, so it's not strictly juice, wpi, and olive oil then. Do you find the peanut butter, cocoa and coconut oil is enough micronutrient wise, or do you still take multi-vits and minerals?

Yep, take mutli vit/min, extra vit c, nac, milk thistle, creatine, beta alanine, heaps of health supps.

Mostly and alot of weeks just juice + some fresh fruits, wpi and EVOO. But sometimes add other fats, just for flavour and to keep gettin bored.

Variety is good, im just saying you pretty much live on very few things and make good gains, i think the macros are the most important thing. If you can be consistant with that and throw in variety then great. But id rather make sure i get my 5000cal before i worry about variety.

Implying you cant get bigger using WPI. And just because someone is an IFBB pro, it does not mean that they arent full of shit

Can you elaborate? Why is steak/chicken going to give you better gains than whey?

500g wpi wow! how far you gone with wpc before choosing wpi as your source of liquid protein.

Is it purely based on the fact that it doesn't upset your stomach at those high levels?

I'd be interested to know how do you feel about MPC/Casein as a source of protein.
