As a spectator! :pfft:

What's accomodation like down there now? Easy to find?

Richard's working on it now. Could be Garden Hotel in Marshland Rd close to the venue. Also buffet restaurant & Exchange Nightclub :dancing: on same property. Just North of the Palms. He will advise soon.

Your not novice nate

Was waiting for that!

But technically I've never placed top three in any federation....... Had the two seconds in NZFBB, which no longer exists! NZIFBB wasn't around in my day, NABBA-WFF wasn't here, and NABBA.... maybe that's got me as I did win a Wellington NABBA show (when I was 10 or so weeks out from my real comp!).

Okay then, you can have the novice bro! I'll enter the Class 2 if I'm in good enough shape 4 weeks out.

f*ck the show is going to be a very, very high standard! So far I'm hearing names like Hamish (who's looking a hell of a lot leaner than last year already), Steve (who I'm told is 115 ripped already & likely to be 110 on stage!!!), Rod (who's always lean anyway), Jack (should own the novice at minimum!), Supry (who's stacked on some epic mass this year and maintained if not bettered his conditioning), Harry ('nuff said in the class 1 mens & overall), and I'm sure a bunch of others I haven't even heard about.

That spectator seat's getting more appealing by the minute!

The big day is here ... looking forward to the updates ...

Today is NZIFBB South Island Champs in Chch, next week is the NABBA-WFF CHCH Grand Prix!

I'm going to come out with a few predictions!

Overall will be won by Soundsgood if he comes in bone dry, otherwise I think Rigger should pip him. Reasons - SG has awesome mass and is very lean, he has also worked damn hard to bring his upper body up to the standard of those massive legs. He is looking balanced and complete. Rigger is always good - his condition ranges from fantastic to mindblowing! So it's gonna be close!!!

Others to watch for would be Kagan Orton, Richard Parnham. And I'm sure there will be a few others that show up on the day that will be a pleasant surprise!

In the womens divisions I'd be betting the house on Lesley Rothera to win the Figure - she's going to be leaner than most of the guys, and after her 1st & 2nd in consecutive internationals she is almost unstoppable. I'm sure there's more than a few figure girls that can't wait to see her head back to the UK in 3 weeks! :pfft:

Womens Physique is likely to be easily won by Lisa Bailey - I'm just hoping she doesn't get on stage with the guys again, my ego doesn't need that!! She's looking full & lean, but still retaining that femininity that too many trade in for mass.

Glamour Class / Fitness should be at another level for NZL BBing with a bunch of Aussies apparently on their way over including the very talanted Justine Switella. Will be a great class to watch!

Keen as hell to get there!
