How to work out the protein/carb/fat values of food?

Hi Guys.

This one’s probably been asked before so I’m sorry if I’m regurgitating. :oops: (bloody newbes)

I’m wondering if anyone knows of some good websites that help workout the protein, carb and fat values in foods. Processed stuff is easy but meat, fruit, vege, oats, grains etc and quite hard.

I’m trying to establish if my daily ratios are within a ball park of where they should be.

I’m aiming for around the traditional ratios of 1.5g of protein, 2g of carbs and 1g of fat per lb of body weight and also aiming for around 3000 cals on training days.

I just want to bench mark a couple of standard days to see if I’m close to being on track. :wink:

Cheers Ronin thats exactly what I needed. :clap:

I just worked out yesterdays totals and compaired them to my targets:

Protein = 120g over

Fats = within 20g (under)

Carbs = under by 120g

Cals = 3500 :shock:

I need to make some revisions to my food intake but its great to know where I'm at.

Cheers again.
