Thought I would register on a nz bb forum, I have just moved to south island to live with my parents from the UK, living on a farm and just bought some stuff for garage.

Got a bench from the warehouse and plates and bars from some sports shop. I've set that up in my garage and I am going to build a squat rack once we get a welding plant and some box section

Anyway, thought I would say hi and have a look at where your all shopping etc.

Welcome to the board and the country, good luck with building all your own equipment, do you live a long way from any gyms ? I have see a few home set ups that were home made but really pretty professional.

I am picking up some more plates tomorow leaving me with,

bench, all the bars I need, and

4x15kg plates

6x10kg plates

and another 60kg in various small sizes

There is a gym in Invecargell i think its called but I am on a farm 15 min drive away and I havn't got my licence yet. Plus I enjoy working out in privacy, listen to what I want and do what i want.

Just waiting on the squat rack then should be good !
