Howdy peeps, first time on this forum and what I'm reading so far seems pretty good real information so I decided to join.

I'm 36yr old ex mechanic, light engineering and metal fabricating type work but am currently employed by CYFS working with young people and troubled youth.

Haven't really done any fitness or weights since I was 17 in a football team, had kids at a young age and now there teenagers I think it's time I start looking after myself. (they can fend for themselves now)

Years of eating crap and junk food have taken there toll and was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes at the age of 24, became insulin dependent at 28 due to still eating crap and a poor lifestyle.

The past 2yrs have been the worst, I developed Frozen Shoulder or Adhesive Capsulitis, the first year I 'handled' the pain (absolutely the dumbest egotistical male response) which by then Cortisone shots were useless and I had to live with my stupid mistake.

Conclusion: I'm still in the thawing stage of my shoulder healing so free weights may seem a few months away but using machines at lightweights is all I can do for now.

I am currently off the insulin and using Balance Products to assist in the gym and with my diet, things are looking good.

ok here's my stats:

Height: 6ft 1

Weight: 161 kg

Build: Solid (according to Police report)

Arms: 17in (measured across middle of bicep)

Chest: 53in

Shoulder width: 58in

Mid section: 52in

Thighs: 26in

Calves: 19in

So I hope to see these stats drop

Nice meeting you all and I look forward to reading all the good info I need.

good stuff!!! why are you using balance products? what products are they? excessively over priced...

I've tried a few others during spats of workouts here and there and I found these worked for me:

BALANCE 100% WHEY PROTEIN WPC/WPI

BALANCE ULTIMATE RECOVERY STACK

But due to high sugar and me being diabetic I've switched to:

BALANCE ULTRA RIPPED PROTEIN

BALANCE LIQUID CARNITINE

BALANCE THERMO RIPPED

I agree it is pretty pricey but joining this forum I can read up on what others use and there opinions on the products.

I find myself not 'hungry' and have energy galore using these products.

But hey I'm more than open to suggestions
