Oats and whey

Just wondering everyone's take on oats and whey for breaky and preworkout. On my last bulk I used uncooked oats about 1 1/2 cups and 40 g whey for breakfast and my pre workout meal. Always try and get whole food in and 4 out of my 6 meals are whole food, ( chicken, steak, eggs, tuna, fish etc) but being a builder I work long days so have to use oats and whey for 2 meals. Just thought I'd throw this out there and see what people's take on oats and whey was.

Yup, I do bowl of oats + 3 scoops of protein for breakfast, then I workout, then have same thing again after. Quick, tasty, healthy.

You get 10-12g protein for every 100g oats too

I use the wholegrain oats as I find they taste better than rolled oats which can have a slightly bitter aftertaste. Wholegrain are sweeter and nuttier
