clean bulk vs dirty bulk

Hey, so say you needed 2500 calories per day to gain muscle/weight and bulk up but you only consumed 1750 calories through clean good foods.

If you were to eat the rest of the 750 calories through foods like the Mc donnalds burgers, pizzas, flavoured milk, white breads, food with some nutritinal value would you get better gains? You wouldnt be getting those caloires from bad foods like chips lollies icecream chocolate with no nutritinal or little value.

Then if you only ate 1750 caloires inwhich you needed 2500 calories to make you dalily calory intake.

keep it clean bro. nomatter what people say, good clean foods are always going to be more beneficial than fast, processed foods..they are not the same.

however i do think there is a time for fast and high calorie foods when you have an extremely high metabolism and simply can't get enough cals daily to grow through clean food only..but if your having the amount of calories that you mentioned then there is no way you are at that level.

Thanks guys im gonna mix it up ay. Gonna go with the IIFYM but keep it generally "clean" foods, chuck in a burger and pizza here and there etc as long as they are healthy dirty foods if you know what I mean. And see how my gains go, its worth a try right?

Any more feedback is appreciated, Thanks.

Your first post is a little jumbled but I'll try to answer :)

IMHO don't try to make up your calorie intake with crap. Fast food etc. is fine in moderation but I think bulking on candy is unwise. Especially if you were eating it at the end of the day to make up the numbers, when your body has been running on a surplus throughout the day.

Also IMO there is more to bulking than consuming x number of calories p/d. It's having your body full of the right fuel for a sustained period while you body recovers. That's a better goal IMO, calorie numbers are more of a guideline.

I do the same, eat clean most of the time but in the weekends might get mcdonalds or whatever. but coz its gotta fit my macros i never get combos, just things like bugers and wraps
