LOL JUST REALISED I ONLY DID 6 REPS!!&Y!T!

I went and trained Chest at Les Mills tonight anyway. I haven't worked with much over 100kg on the flat bench in about a year now due to a bung shoulder... so tonight I tried out 120kg. I still had a good handful or more reps left in me...

I wasnt maxing out bro, just wanted to post something I knew I could do no worries. We'll call it an opener ;)

When im back in NZ ill try find a vid camera.

Question: What about lifting my bum off the bench? I tend to do this on my last few reps - Is this okay for this comp? Its only on the press, I keep it down while I lower the bar.

As you can see, SG also fucks the air while benching. Boosts test levels ;)

haha, good spotting. I do lift a bit more than that I think but I havnt seen myself from 3rd person view. but ok it counts!

To be fair my hammies might lift a little bit but arse doesn't leave contact with the bench. Pretty normal bro

Yeah, a lot of people lift their hammies or arse off the bench. I don't think it really affects the ROM though because the chest generally stays put.

it creates more power pushing through the hammies. my good friend whos a very succesful powerlifter sometimes gets DOMS from bench day. lol

Not the heaviest I can go. Just doing it for something. Weighed in at 66kg and this is 70kgs on the bar
