great strength and depth bro!!!

yeah strong  a ways of comp depth tho SG...whats you stratergy for the comp mate...just go in and fire it right down?

Admittedly not as deep as i would have like on a couple of reps but i will point out i have a massive flare on my quads bro, that angle makes it not look as deep as it is side on. Hip crease sits a good 2 inches below top of quads. If u want to call out my depth go for it, but I think it's passable for the purpose of this comp  If anyone else disagrees I will have another go with more depth.

Heavy singles are a different kettle of fish. I more than make sure I make depth.

naa bro ..wasnt calling you out (sensitive bodybuilder  ) and depth is prolly as good as most BB get in training..any deep wouldn't be anymore beneficial anyway so Im told? Was speaking more on your PL comp bro....if you get a picky triple of refs they may not have seen quads like yours hahahaaha and want a deeper squat.

Like Bluto Id be keen to see how a loose suit would go too 8)

Nice work PD!! Dangerous, but nice!

I'll try and get a vid of my bench attempt tomorrow when I train at LM with nate and the others that come along. I definitely won't be doing any heavy squatting tho... got a quad injury that's on the mend. I might try deadlift tomorrow tho, see how it goes!

Thanks for the positive Feedback guys

Sorry Steak, my reply sounded a little bit emo, was more tongue in cheek than anything big guy! I think the depth I use for medium and high rep squats is pretty much bang on for engaging all the muscles Im trying to work. Ummmm seems to be working? :shifty:

235kg x 8 reps @ 112kg

Good squatting son

Good set, Ive got 4 weeks to beat that, damn.

You should have a go at a powerlinfting meet in your offseason, see what you can so with a loose suit. Should be able to hit 350+ ?

Would be mean to see some of your lifts big guy! I'm praying your over 10% BF so you're not in my class lol.

Although equipped lifting doesn't really appeal to me, I wouldn't mind giving it a crack at some stage to see what the suit carryover is like. I will definately take you up on your offer Dan!

Try it in loose suit, 1 size bigger than recommended for your measurements, then it wont really help you lift more, just keep you stable and protect from injurys for 1-3rep work.

I can nail the same weight without a suit that i can with a suit, just feels safer in a suit. Same with knee wraps, you dont wear wraps to help lift more weight, just to do it safetly.

I think suits or briefs can still be usefull for bodybuilding.
