Whos your favourite bodybuilder/powerlifter and why?

Mines Ben Pakulski cause he looks fucken awesome and he always explains in his videos why he is doing what he is doing on each excercise . I swear ive learnt more off his facebook posts in 3 months than i have in 5 years of training. Posts daily on Facebook with mint tips That you you wouldnt even think of. Sends out dvd emails to downlaod for free to. If you havent liked his page do it you wont regret. Growtime baby.

Well since the question is bodybuilder and not bodybuilders hmmmm...

I'd probably say Evan Centopani. Why? He's young and could potentially win an Olympia in a few years. He's competed in 2 pro shows and won both.

Also, I was reading up about him, when he was 12 he weight 220 pounds. By the time he was 13 he was down to 150. Tell me what kid at that age has that immense dedication? That just screams a strive to succeed.

X2 for Levrone & Wheeler in terms of physiques (funny how they, particularly Levrone is so popular but never won the Sandow).

Also Yates for work ethic and acheivement.

I'd have to say Arnie is my favourite bodybuilder, he just owned everyone with his personality back in the day. If it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be a bodybuilder.

Out of the current bodybuilders, I'd say it's Phil Heath... he's got freaky as arms. Just crazy. There's photos I've seen of Phil compared with Flex and they look like the same guy. Apart from Flex having much more aesthetic looking abs. If Flex were in the current lineup against Phil... I'd choose Flex as having the better physique.

jay cutler hands down no boubt about it for everything he does. true example of a champion and somebody who has succeeded in life. 4x mr O's, giant fan base, very humble guy, and a very succesful business that will continue to make him a lot of money after he is done with bodybuilding. i also like how he began his business at a very young age..he had a lot of properties but decided to sell them to start his clothing etc busniess.

moe did a similar thing beginning his supplement business at only 24.

evan centapani is another big inspiration and idol of mine. i love his body and he seems very humble and down to earth.

For physique, stage presence, complete package: Shawn Ray

For their impact on the sport and weight training in general: The Man, Arnold.

We probably wouldnt have all these great gyms and equipment without guys like Arnold and Sly popularising lifting. I think most guys born in 70's and early 80's grew up watching all Arny and Slys great action flicks.

For Work Ethic: So hard to judge as everyone at that level trains there ass off to get that look.

Physique wise, Shawn, with guys like Flex,Kevin,Bob Paris,Brian Buchanan,Frank Zane etc all being favourites also. Mass with Class.
