I used to train with a chap called Marc Rainbow at the golds gym in Invercargill, does this gym still exist , this was in the late 80's. It was run by a chap also called Mark

No idea about that gym.

Last I heard was that your friend Marc is in jail, by the way. For running a steroid racket... among other convictions.

I met him once at the 2005 NZFBB AGM, he must have been a strong fella back in the day? Was telling me that he used to bench 4 (or 5, can't remember) plates on the incline press.

Golds merged with World Gym to become World Health and Fitness.

We relocated from the previous location in Leet Street to 45 Clyde Street, approx 6 weeks ago. We now have the best facilities and most fully equipped gym in Invercargill :nod:

Whatever happened to the chap that used to run the gym. Mark, he used to do superb aerobic classes supstairs.

Dont know what happened to Mark that used to own it...just got out of it I think and moved away with his family.

It's hardly down south - still on one of the main streets (which it wasnt previously) - gym membership is up....
