Female Insulin use w/o gear

As a woman who admits to wanting to compete in figure I get suggested certain steroids all the time if the topic does arise, such as anavar/winstrol/primo etc.

As a singer I am very afraid of androgenic effects of gear and have tried looking at alternatives that might maximize my training in ANY way without ANY androgenic effects.

I've been considering insulin use post workout only but am worrying because I'm a woman and am not on any other test/growth/AAS if it would actually benefit me or be MORE of a problem with fat gain etc.

Any help would be awesome !

(I understand the general use of slin and risks/side effects)

Cautious to wade in here but I would say don't do it. The risks definitely outweigh the benefits in your situation IMO

Read up (lots!) on IGF-1 or maybe GH instead if you must go the "enhanced" route

Yes this is your best alternative using peptides HGH being your best option over IGF-1 IMO. Much more expensive though & hard to obtain good quality product but no androgenic side effects in low doses

If competition is your goal then Insulin is definetely not the best idea.

There are so many things out there that could help you achieve your goal.

GH would be the King if price isn't a problem for you.

Though a little Primo there would not hurt if you run the proper female dosage.

I have heaps of female friends who love Primo and never had any problems.

Good Luck

I have thought about GH a bit, I got into my head that there could be androgenic side effects with that but thinking I was wrong, I think it was that I was worried about the Acromegaly but I guess that's rare and you could see that happening whereas I would be more wary of taking a cycle of any AAS even primo as if I did by chance effect my voice, by the time I'd notice it it would be too late as it would be irreversible?

I wasn't sure about the insulin as I've heard different things from different people, and there's usually a kind of "these are the things women should do, these are the things women shouldn't do" kinda attitude. But I though post workout when "bulking" for its anabolic effects and recovery. I've heard in conjunction with a fat burner shouldn't produce excess fat etc.

As far as androgenic effects go Insulin does not act in this way. It is very anabolic but could add BF (as you mentioned a fatburner/stim or thyroid would/could mitigate this but might impact on bulking due to increased energy expenditure or decreased apetitite).

The peptides seem like a logical choice, although like any other compound there are side effects, though masculinisation wont be one as they are not androgenic as such.

People have mentioned low androgen:anabolic ratio compounds, but as you've indicated there is still a risk. Other things like DHEA or SARMS would fit in this category, as fairly low risk but still some androgenic effects possible.

An anti-catabolic compound may be a good approach if you wish to avoid masculinisation, though I know little about these other than the reported effected of some of the beta stimulants (clen) but again for a bulk its questionable.

In summary I think its great you asked the question and thought through the consequences before diving in. Having seen a girl lose a beautiful singing voice many years ago I've got to say its probably not worth it for a few plastic trophies.

A wise choice to stay away from gear. I know some women who compete over here (UK). They are all on gear and most of then have cracked their voices. Some have taken a year to recover while others have never recovered.

I have sent a txt to a guy I know here who trains several girls for competition. These girls compete at the top level of the sport over here. They are not gym bunnies but serious trainers with some of them squating 140kilos.

He is very knowledgeable in this field. I have passed your question onto him so once he gets back to me I will post it up here for you.

Aww thanks! Who's the guy you could PM me his name maybe I could find him on FB? I am in the UK at the moment but I am coming to NZ in the next few weeks but am undecided if I will stay in NZ to compete or come back to the UK (if I compete this year at all!) But would be good to know what he says!

Running something like T3 alongside insulin. or GH, T3 and insulin I don't see why they would be a problem as a woman (apart from usual side effects to worry about!) I'm just exploring my options as I'm either thinking of trying these things or competing possibly in a natural show instead. Though I love IFBB so much I'm not risking my voice, like was said, for a plastic trophy. So any AAS are really out of the question but is it fair to be up against girls who are obviously on them?

I sing popular music and have SLS singing lessons, I'll be carrying these on with a guy in Wellington, proper excited! My dad has a recording studio in his house as well \:D/

Havn't forgotten you, so far got feedback from a very experienced guy in the USA who has alot of knowledge in peptide use etc and a top level bodybuilder here in the UK who has helped several competing girls. Waiting for one more guy to get back to me then I will PM you all the information plus contact details so if you have any questions you can ask these guys.

In a nut shell yes insulin will be fine for you and you should get some pretty awesome gains off it. Baz has outlined a good solid insulin plan for you to follow so once Paul gets back to me with his thoughts I'll be in touch. :)
