Clenbuterol v Albuterol

Chemo, hope this is of some help mate. :)

Clenbuterol has been around a long time now and is well known within the bodybuilding world for it ability to strip off fat. Without going into to much detail clen simply stimulates your beta-2 receptors. Clen is not approved by the FDA for use in humans so non anecdotal information for use in humans is like hen's teeth. With animal studies clen has shown to build muscle and increase strength. But as stated there is very little information proving that clen does the same with humans. As you know animals are quite different in their make up from us, including they have more beta-2 receptors than us. In animal studies clen has caused heart damage when given over extended periods of time.

When I have run clen I notice a strength increase, can't remember if it had any effect on my cardio as it has been awhile since I used clen

Clen has a half life of between 7 to 9 hours. Apart from the normal sides associated with clen such as raised body temperature, shakes etc some users also suffer from insomia. Most users will cycle the drug two weeks on two weeks off to clear out their receptors. The other way, which I prefer is to run ketotifen every 3rd week to restore receptor function. Some users of clen get bad cramps, taking a taurin supplement will most often counter this.

Albuterol unlike clen is approved for human use so there are plenty of studies around. It is in fact perscribed by Doctors for asthmatics. Albuterol is basically a shorter acting version of clen with a half life of 3 to 4 hours. So people who suffer from insomia on clen will often find albuterol does not cause this. As it is faster acting you need to dose more. I do three doses a day last one around 5pm so don't have any sleeping problems.

It has been proved in human studies that albuterol increases strength, often accompanied with increased muscle mass. Another postive aspect of albuterol is that it increases your endurance cabability as well.

I have some great workouts when on albuterol I find the strength increase is much better than clen, I look bigger and can really hammer the rower or running machine due to the increased endurance I have.

Albuterol has a postive impact on overall cholesterol levels. So basically lowers the bad cholesterol and raises the good cholesterol. All the studies done have shown no heart damage to the users.

Due to the shorter half life there is a lower level of beta-2 receptor downgrade so you can run it longer than clen. I have run albuterol for 6 weeks straight with my body temperature still increasing. I check this with a rectal thermometer. If it does stop working then just like clen you can stop for a couple of weeks or use something like ketoifen.

Cost wise I find that they are about the same, around $30 dollars NZ for 100 tablets.

Rectal thermometer?! \:D/

I prefer albuterol to clen as well. Clen gives me shitty headaches which just make it too hard for me to stay on the stuff. Feels like my brain is rattling round inside my skull, even with solid hydration and supps in place.

Ventolin is albuterol? no kidding....

Time to fake an asthma attack ;3

Yeah but is almost always used in an inhaler or nebuliser form, not sure if you can get pills here but you prob can. They do sell a liquid formulation for kids lol. I remember it from when I was young. It has a strawberry flavouring in it and tastes remarkably like research chem site stuff :)

Cant remember if I've heard of peeps using the inhalers for cutting but I'm sure it's been tried

I wouldn't recommend it based ont he fact that each time you press the inhaler, only 100mcg comes out. The recommended dose (for cutting) is in the low mg range so you'd be doing a lot of inhalations first and foremost. You may black out lol.

Also I seem to remember reading that the inhalations do not produce a significant systemic effect at all so they are good for asthma symptoms but not a hell of a lot else. Tiny doses of a drug with a short half life taken by a fast absorbing route of admin aren't ideal. You need the pills or liquid suspension. Most research chem sites carry one or the other.

From what I understand, the anticatabolic effects of clen and albuterol are over exaggerated and would only be truly noticeable in intolerable doses but that's another story for another thread.

usual asthma puffer dose is 100mcg i think. not sure on the comparison to the tabs.. .

Yes the standard dose is 100mcg. To get 4mgs which is what a standard albuterol tablet is you need 40 puffs. An inhailer has 200 metered doses so you soon go through it. I have tried the inhailers and won't bother again, got very little results. :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Having just read this + a wholeeeee bunch of other threads on various forums + sites was just curious as to personal experiences. With a half-life of 7-9 hours most people suggest taking it first thing in the AM, if you get up at 8am and only get to the gym around 5:30pm, would it benefit you more having taken it at say 10 or 11am or am I just retarded? Im just trying to figure out if its beneficial in any way changing my routine - maybe adding morning cardio right after taking this first thing.

Should be starting cycle Sat or Monday depending on hammy injury~ Since I got Keto with mine I'm probably going to look at 3-4 weeks first time but see even with that Diabolic said still stick to 2on2off's~ hmmm
