Recommended Posts

Currently i'm getting so painfully pumped that it is hindering my training and i cant train with any intensity....this is mainly due to the creatine i'm taking but throughout my training life have always experienced really painful pumps.

wondering if there is any supplement or anything i can take reduce it a bit?

not sure if this will help but I used race motocross and holy F can your arms get pumped so went to the doc and he prescribed me a blood thinner (can't remember the name) and it worked wonders. Ive been told aspirin has a similar effect.

ohh wicked man, yeah i know that feel 15min and i'm fucked! same goes with trying to hold onto a biscut ect.

i guess milk thistle is the go then, i wonder if that could mean i have thick blood? sounds bad?

i reckon your RBC would be pretty high from the "supplements" you take.

And that's a good thing it's helping you do more exercise, recover faster etc from giving your muscles more oxygen, gives u more ATP generation, better contractions etc. Nothing but goodness :pfft:

So I try and work around it a bit like not doing bent-over-barbell rows too early in the workout cos lower back after deadlifts is already pumped...having to hold myself upright on an angle using the core and lower back for barbell rows is difficult. I'll pick lat pulldows after deadlifts (or pullups) and give the lower back a break, take the weight belt off.

Sometimes I have to leave Leg Curls until last on Leg Days cos my lower back gets a pump from these as well if I go quite heavy but still 10-12 reps (must mean I'm going too heavy for the contraction if it's utilising lower back...but you need heavy negatives sometimes for growth).

What I also do sometimes is try and mask it with Panadol on days I know it'll be bad. On a high volume Shoulders day I can be in muscle swelling pain but if I do x2 Panadol I feel nothing even close, just the stretching of the skin as the muscle underneath pumps up.

The last thing I'll do is switch to really low reps for the exercises that are killing me, this rarely gives me a decent pump for any exercise (except Biceps, they seem to love light and heavy).

might be something in there to try mate

thanks mate after reading about your leg days im keen to give the panadol/nurofen a go.

i simply cant train shoulders because of the pump which isnt the biggest drama as they aren't lagging but means i have really shit OHP

Stating the obvious but I think you know what the problem is:

Have started taking 50mg ed orally, this is my first time using it and i'm terrified of getting fucked joints as they are already pretty bad.

What is your take on this drug? pros/cons

What are you taking with it...?

And why have you decided to take winstrol..?

tren 400mg test 800 dbol 25mg

If you're going to start adding Panadol & Nurofen to the mix just remember with two 17aa oral compounds your liver is already under load, panadol aint exactly liver friendly! Unsure about ibuprofen?

Maybe just your body telling you to back off the androgens a bit TWL?

na but seriously, taurine 1gram per day should do the trick.

and stretch and massage also bro.

actually there is this shit you can get from the pharmacy called mega - magnesium. Comes in a little container of powder about the size of a Jack3d container. It's got 3gms of taurine per scoop + magnesium and B6 and a few other bits and peices all for helping muscle cramps and helping with ion flow. It worked for me with pumps and cramps and just general musclular health with heaps of training. Could give it a go?
