Where to get cheap dumbells?

Im after a set of dumbells/free weights ranging from like 22kgs to like 40kgs, anyone know a good place in Auckland to get em from preferably cheap. But need 2 dumbells for each weight

just buy a set (or two sets) of spin-lock dumbell rods (get the longest ones you can), and 80-160 kg or so of second hand weights. Unless you dont mind spending heaps...

You might have to buy the weights in more than one batch so the finished set might not look pretty but as long as it's heavy right?

It's not that easy to find the extra long spinlock dumbell handles but you could try Fitnessworks or somewhere like that. If you're "only" going up to 40kg per DB, you might fit it all on but the spin locks will prob only turn a couple times

If your using standard plates, cut a standard barbell into size and get some steal spin locks so u can tighten up with a crescent for the inside, then just use some plastic collars that u can tighten by hand for the outside.

2nd had standard bar is like 20bucks.
