Interesting HGH levels

Recommended Posts

Was looking at HGH-related readings and found that the administration of a large dose of L-arginine is a standard test for the ability of the pituitary to release growth hormone.

Apparently most scientists believe that L-arginine promotes HGH release by inhibiting somatostatin, and this has been demonstrated in at least one scientific study.

There are several problems with the use of arginine and other amino acids as HGH releasers. Their effectiveness generally diminishes with age, and with continued use. This has led some people to the opinion that amino acids such as L-arginine are weak or ineffective HGH releasers. This can be a dangerous assumption. In some young people, L-arginine may actually cause dangerously high levels of HGH release. Many young people use L-arginine, but it should not be used by anyone until at least 5 years after they have completed their long bone growth (unless they are under close medical supervision).

I found it here, and not claiming it's accurate, unbiased, peer-reviewed material without an alternate agenda...but natural athletes may want to investigate further. http://www.futurescience.com/hgh.html

Interesting! So, you gonna buy some and try it out? :)

Some Arginine? Not going to buy GH mate am not at a level tgat warrants it but given time i might :-)

I got to that page by seeing why we take GHRP-6 before bed when natty GH is gonna pulse then anyway...it's to amp the pulse. So I might do 200mcg AM and 100mcg PM.

Anyway for a natty I thought it was interesting to know that Arginine may increase GH levels if this turns out to b true, if they really do use it to test someone's GH response.

Yea I meant some arginine. Good HGH is way too expensive in this country anyway. :-)

GHRP-6 - I've been looking into that myself... I haven't tried it yet but I'm damn keen to give it a go... will have to wait till my next pay day though! lol, missus is (thankfully) looking after the finances and just did a lump sum payment on the mortgage.
