I know what you mean though, it took me a while to realise that my toys were gone... I'd dream of them then get up in the morning all excited about going for a ride then I'd realise they were gone. Argh!!! lol

A house is a good trade off though, at some point you need to cut your ties with your parents... no better way to do it.

Most fun I had so far would have to be a cheap old MR2 SW20, not too powerful but mid-engine rear wheel set up and very light it was a blast to drive around in.

Current dream car is still that one which I've been looking up to since I was a kid, Ferrari F355.

357ci (350 sbc, 40 thou over), been rebuilt and not run in yet - seriously done less than 30km all up! :pfft: Has a mild cam, 600 double pumper Holley etc. Unsure what it'd put out HP wise?

Just got mags on today! Boys gonna paint all chrome billet aluminium look over next few days.

Boys reckon 6 months....told them they've got 6 weeks! :pfft: :grin:

Won't ever be completely finished, these things never are, but should be running around this summer in Auckland! :nod:

Interior was okay, so I just satin blacked the roof lining, vinyl & dash (added a few gauges). Bought black moulded carpet & underlay the otherday and have redone the parcel tray with black vinyl & pioneer 6x9"s.

Rear seat okay but needs one new panel in then blacked out. Front seats are Premier Buckets so worth gold but are pretty beat up. Will use with black covers until I've got a spare grand or so to reupholster in black with chev logos etc. Not using the centre console as I want the fire extinguisher to sit between the seats! :pfft:

The side windows have been tinted (18%) and hopefully get back one done this week.

Few other bits to do (central locking, shaved handle poppers, keyless entry etc - kinda important when battery & fuel filler is hidden in the boot!) but then I'm waiting till Christmas for my airbrush guy to ghost flame it out! Will have some familiar bodies in the flames too along with my 50's gangster / gambler bikini girls theme! :nod: :grin:

If you like classic cars you'll hate this, but if you're into customs it should float ya boat!
