Damn, I was hoping someone would have some souped up American muscle

car or something else outstanding? :-s

Well, I don't myself, but I've grown up around them my whole life. Here's one my father built from a rolling body, sold it 3 years ago;

I don't have access to any pictures, those are from the current trade me listing. Right now he's got a '68 Camaro with a 454 big block that he's had forever, and building up a '65 Impala Coupe. No pics sorry.

From memory, Drizzt posted up a Beautiful Mustang in a similar thread a while back.

That's a neat cruising car there! mean. I'll have to have a look and see if I can find this thread with Drizzt's Mustang!

Yeah I drive her around every weekend or two (sold my car a few months back), my Mum's car though so I can't quite claim it as mine :shifty: 67 fastback, can't remember the thread I posted the pics in, and don't have any pics offhand... such a beautiful car, still runs fantastically too, gets a lot of looks. Lot of character in the muscle cars, love em :nod: Can't quite beat the growl of their engines 8)

Dad also has a 57 Bel Air he (had) built from the ground up, not too dissimilar to the one Phed posted above, beautiful (both of em!). Dad rarely lets me drive his one though :(

edit - here's the V8 mag write-up for Dad's Chev (let me know if the link doesn't work, can't get to it from work unfortunately...)

Oh mean, 67 fastback.. the Mustang that featured in Gone in 60 Seconds was also a 67 fastback. Those are nice looking Mustangs!

Yeah, love that one. Good thing about the fastback is the shape wins most people over, it's an easy car to appreciate :nod:

Just dug a random photo of it out of the albums (taken a couple of years ago... I believe the rear wheels are a bit bigger now...)

Maybe a bit more power, the new turbo is rated at 400-600hp. Just replacing the big masterpower turbo I have because it was fucked. Not sure how much boost I will run but probably a reasonable amount (also got a high or low boost switch) because I will be selling it as soon as it's fixed so may as well have some fun before it's gone. Also not sure if I should go for a mild or maxed out tune... It was making 300kw on a mild tune so may be a bit insane on a maxed out tune.
