NABBA NZ promotes another illegal competition

The following taken from the NABBA NZ website shows how little the the President, Mr Jim Pitt, has regard for his competitors in blatantly announcing the NZ Team to go to the unsanctioned & illegal misrepresentation of his affiliation to NABBA International, on unsuspecting competitors. In no way does his organisation have any affiliation to the REAL NABBA INTERNATIONAL who run the NABBA UNIVERSE & WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. This event run up by a renegade offshoot of the original & true NABBA INTERNATIONAL & supported by around 7 minor countries in the World of International Bodybuilding, is just another misuse of competitors funds. I believe he will also not be sending any competitors to the NAC Universe. Perhaps this event in the Philippines is just another peace offering to keep his supporters duped into thinking they have legit access to real international competition & subsequently there are no funds left to send competitors to NAC Universe on 26 November in Germany.

New Zealand Team to the 2011 Phil-Asia Championships

THE NZ TEAM FOR PHIL-ASIA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Two Bodybuilding Associations, NABBA International and NAC International, have come together to run the 1st UBFF Invitational Phil-Asia Championships.

UBFF stands for Unified Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation. It is good to see organisations coming together to promote their sport. The Championships are being held over 2 days, October 20th and 21st, in the Philippines, Cebu.

The NZ TEAM is:

And in no way have they said anything about it being affiliated with NABBA INTERNATIONAL. They are not as stupid as NABBA NZ in making these ridiculous claims. I just don't know why Jim just cant let go of his fanatical past & affiliate properly with NAC & rename NABBA NZ ...NAC NZ.

Yeah I know it probably sucks but NABBA has been around for so long here in NZ supporting athletes. When we speak of NABBA in the gym among competitors we say 'NABBA' or 'WFF'. That's just how it is mate.

It will prolly take years before he let's go, and can't imagine why he would tbh.

I imagine it's a pain in WFF's butt, and not being sarcastic at all, being realistic and serious for a moment, I feel for the Mr. Universe NABBA (that's how I tell them apart) and hope you persevere through it all. Heard nothing but good things from the format of the show to the raft of prizes and gifts given out to athletes.

Only reason I haven't done one of your shows is I don't know who the Mr. Universe is or follow that side of bodybuilding at all. I know and follow the Mr. Olympias. They're in the magazines, I take supplements endorsed by some of them etc so to win in a Federation they were once amatuers in as well is awesome.

I dont give a rats arse how many competitors they had at their Nationals. He had a chance to build a bridge back with NABBA International 2 years ago when NABBA/WFF was formed in NZ. He flatly refused & in fact he deposed the then President, Peter Hardwick & took control over his association in an attempt to stamp his authority on the situation at the time.

The difference between NABBA NZ/NAC & NABBA/WFF is that they legally carry the affiliation with NABBA International. Jim Pitt doesn't & he knows it. Why does he not just call his organisation the Jim Pitt Bodybuilding Association. At least people will know who runs it & he might even get some recognition in the International Bodybuilding community.
