Young alright, but the pressures on dieting etc are no different to those placed in high performance gymnastics, ballet etc at the same age.

Personally I don't think I'd be encouraging my kids to compete at that age but if they took to it themselves as a parent I'd be supportive.

In saying that you can safely train girls from age 12-13 on conditioning. Although this girl looks pretty musclular I say its achievable naturally based on some of the young boys you see on youtube with ripped physiques ... much younger. Opens up issues later on in life with regard to body image etc as well.
