I am taking the lead here and have seen a small opening in the market.

Welcome to POWERBUILDING NZ. We are proud to supply a platform for those like minded individuals that enjoy lifting heavy weights, maintaining a waistline and see 9 sausages and a 400g steak a perfectly reasonable post training meal.

Competition formats will be as follows:

Squat

Deadlift

Bench Press

Cable Crossover

Mirror flexing

and the main event ....

... the pie eating contest.

Classes will be divided into 3 main divisions;

Big

Huge and

... Holy shit dude your a freak!

Bonus points will be awarded to competitors that are able to eat a Wendys delux cheese burger in its entirety during each of their lifts (excludes the Mirror Flexing as eating will divert the attention away from your compulsary sequine posing briefs).

Only regulation baby oil can be used during the Mirror competition - olive and/or coconut oil is strictly forbidden as there are not enough trans fats in their composition.

If you turn up to the show and your gut sticks out further than your chest you are fat :nod:

Please accept my cash and sign me up! I would like to compete in the lighter classes - that is under 150kg thanks.

Will you be offering cable crossover only events?

1. no mention of cheesecake but great idea .. have amended the rules to clearly define cheescake as an acceptable substitute to pie as it wouldn't be seen as "performance enhancing".

2. Put some weight on buddy 155kg is justa different state of mind :pfft:

3. Have scheduled the "BIG X" event for later this year - competitors need to start preparing their dismounts for end Jan 2012.

What if you have mad Aesthetics, you still allowed to compete??

Competing under anesthesia is not discouraged .... :lol: ... kidding Bob, you can come play, just have to wear a paperbag over your head to preserve the non-beautiful people subclause 5.566 in the constitution .... (no homo) :pfft:

is it ok if i wear triple ply for the crossovers?

Knock yourself out .... it's recommended for our new "Stunt Lifting" bench class where competitors bounce weight of their face before engaging at the bottom of the lift.

instead of 3 whites can we have 3 "Im mirring!" signs that the judges hold up if it is a good lift... and a "You jelly bra" if it is a red?

We have come up wih a better system where 3 bikini models wearing t-shirts with "You jelly BRAH!" simply lift their t-shirts with "I'm mirin" written across their bare chest based on the judges descision ... just working on a contract with DC and SBW and a mystery personality to cover the womens competition.

Too much time on the Aesthetics thread for you - I prescribe some carbs, preferably deep fried, heavy squats and no shaving your forearms & legs for a month! Avoid mirrors where possible! LOL :pfft: :grin:

JR can join as long as he learns to pose and we get to force feed him kumara chips in mayonaise between lifts :pfft:

Sorry Prince purple rain not on the regulation play list ... I would have thought something from Vanilla Ice or ABBA would compliment your physique ... just speculating :P
