See you there BIG man!

You'd be absolutely shredded under 100kg, hope you don't make it 8)

Don't worry you're not the only one who didn't get back on track straight away. I only got back into it Monday and struggling to get through the 1-1.5hr cardio sessions from lack of motivation or tiredness my legs feel like jelly. Nutro pegged my post-comp b/f on the following Tuesday at 6.4%!!!

Am now thinking that getting below 5% bf is supposed to be hard and taxing on the body and not just the same as dropping from 10 down to 5%. In the back of my mind something tells me it's a different ballgame and I don't know the rules

I bet Androids not sure whether to come in full as f*ck to do 100+ or keep dieting his ass off to do 90-100s now :pfft:

I'm sure now mate, it's got to be under 100kg. Have yet to find a competitor in that class from previous comp photos for 2011 that scares me. But then I can't work out if Joe Ullberg was over 90kg or not. If he was 90-100kg then I found one :-)

I had a fat test this morning lost .5 of a mil off a few places so not as bad as I thought  Need to lose 2 or hopefully even 3mil off my ass In a week though  Mowing my lawns and half the streets lawns today! getting paid for cardio \:D/

AND yes Android.......... going from 10 to 5% is sooooo much easer than going from 5% to anything less than that I reckon

Yeah, it was a small show, but I thought the standard of competitor was generally pretty high.

What I didn't like was the way the pre-judging was drawn out. Each competitor was individually called on stage to go through all the quarter turns and poses, then they'd go off and the next competitor came on... and so on. One by one. Finally, the whole class came on as a group, and they'd do everything all over again.

The venue, surprisingly, was really good. A nice stage, with excellent lighting. It's just a shame the seating was all on the one level, so I think you'd end up looking through a lot of heads if the audience was full (this wasn't a problem at the prejudging!). There's a mezzanine floor, so that might provide better views if it gets used. But back to the stage lighting... awesome!

As with so many shows, there were music issues. And given that this was prejudging, so the only routines performed were by two fitness competitors, both of whom had problems... I just hope they sort this out by the evening show.

Incidentally, both the fitness girls were very impressive. Great bodies, and fantastic routines full of cartwheels, L-sits, handstands and all sorts of other moves that my camera had trouble capturing. They would have been the highlight of the show for me.

Anyway, here are some of the ladies...

Nice Pics Pseudonym. It's a shame the pre judging was drawn out, but with a lack of competitors I can understand the judges would want to give the paying public value for money.

Purely from the pics I see the overalls being Contested by Jhoon Law, Joe Ulberg, Max, Suprey, Mateo, Andrew and Nato. There was no pics of Khalid. Did he not turn up????

I would say Nato is the lead horse, looking grainy as f*ck, and carries such full bellies. But if Android can come in a bit drier tonight who knows! Joe and Suprey are dark horses too. Will be an awesome overalls pose down!

Keep us updated bro!

Overalls contested by Android, Suprey, Joe and Nato.

Overall NZIFBB Mr NZ 2011 - Nathan Ohearn.

Not bad for only deciding to compete 5 weeks out lol

I hear a pro card is on the cards? Give the rest of us a chance next year haha

Thanks Hamish. Unfortunately we all know its politics when. They don't look at symmetry, condition, balance and overall proportions. Lol. Just pure POLITICS.

the quality of the physiques last night was fantastic. the overall line up was the best ive ever seen for sure. the guy that won the juniours was a monster and the asian guy he beat in the other class (not suure what class but had to do pre judging again) was very good and was a very close class. some amazing female physiques were also on show last night. the girl that won fitnes (Haylee?) was amazing so was darryn onekawas wife. the runner up in mens overall who won the masters..his back double was amazing and nobody could come close to it.

Got to love it when a plan comes together \:D/

Even though it was a small show (but great quality!), and very few people watching :( I really enjoyed being in this show and it has me amped about bodybuilding again! AND, I haven't felt like that for a very long time  I'm now keen as to get back into some hard core weight gain dieting and training (after at least 3 weeks of not even seeing a gym and fishing a hole lot of course ha ha)

I didn't think I had lost much muscle in the last 2 years that I have been.............. shall we say "a little slack" but I did  and I want it back! with intrest! I've got a hole heap of new training and dieting tricks that I am so keen to try! So I will be back next year to defend the title and I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can achieve in 12 months.

Nato
