hey farrout,

my old man is interested in getting HRT, is it the same for Dr's in wgtn you

think? how do you feel now after taking it? much different?

cheers

Hey man,

I feel great - turning 44 next month.

I started off on Androderm patches, then testosterone cream, then Andriol caps, Sustanon 250 & now Depo-Testosterone.

The GP referral process will be the same nationwide.

oh ok, so i presume cyp is via injection? what was creams and caps like? did you notice any effects with them? as i imagine cyp would have been better

what do you prefer cyp or sus?

Thanks

Cyp's the best because I have multi-use vials & self inject weekly. Next best was the test cream, which was 200mg test per gram. I would apply half a gram every morning. Andriol caps, I was taking 3 caps twice a day, didn't raise my levels enough & pinning Sus 250 every two weeks resulted in feeling flat the 2nd week.

yeha i can see how you would be flat, sus is a mix of test I believe and most of them are short esters with short halflives...

I wonder why they didnt make you pin it at least everyweek?

also have you noticed more gains since being on? and loss of fat?

Thanks for the info

No sweat man.

Sustanon was every two weeks due to being 250mgs test & only being in 1 ml amps.

Have increased lean muscle & reduced bodyfat. Initially had rapid growth of traps - enough to cause stretch marks - and lower biceps.

you need to be at least over 35 with lost test levels

Score!

and if I go a month after coming off, then I should show low levels... mmmm, maybe it is time to go and see... The mrs said she doesn't mind if I can get a script...

At the moment she has to mind, or 'out of sight, out of mind'.

Explaining the barrel was a tricky one.

even if you fit the criteria of being perscribed HRT, it still comes down to discretion of your GP. unless you are of a certain age, its hard to push for HRT.

there are plenty of ways to really bring down your test levels without having to get your bloods done right after your cycle (when your still shut down).

If you

you need to be at least over 35 with lost test levels

bioethics of NZ in action!

Hey man,

I'm on it. My endo's prescribed 200mg test cypionate a week & 0.5mg Arimidex every 2nd day.

My GP had to refer me to the local hospital's endocrinologist - cost me nothing :-)

Cheers,

Steve

Arimidex at that low dose of test? I'd seriously research arimidex if I were you and consider dropping it. Definitely unneeded.

I'd consider finding a better endo if I were you!

My nipples start protruding & get itchy without it. My E2 is still too high - measured 67 on Tuesday.

Just play with them, it's fun.

Okay all jokes aside... I'm thinking maybe you have a high body fat percentage?

Ha ha.

Bodyfat's low man, would be 10 max as all rows of abs are visible & chest, shoulders, legs & arms have hose pipe veins.

It's likely a genetic thing on your part.

I'd still consider dropping out that arimidex if I were you though. It's quite harsh and should only be used as needed.

I know you're going through all the proper channels but have you thought of trying out some Masteron or Proviron. Either of those may be enough to take care of your estrogen sides... and they're great for the sex drive as well.

Oh well I've got nothing more to add then... It's likely a genetic thing on your part.

Yea, I'm looking into some Proviron.which would be best & could it be taken long term. I'm not pinning much, however it is every week for life.

Good luck finding some Proviron! :)

Oh and pinning once a week is no problemo. Try using 26g 1/2 inch - keep your oil volumes under 2mL though... otherwise the depots may bulge. Perfect for 1-1.5mL injects.

Thanks man, I pin with 23g 1 inch & had no probs.

That's twice as long tough! More than twice the chance of going through a vein.

I only use 1 inch + when I need to go over 1.5 mL. 26g half inch is all good.

I'm a good guinea pig to learn from... :)

In 3 years I have only hit a vein 3x on glutes. 23g 1" FTW! 8)
