hey bar-belle

thanks for doing that, at the moment my training is bodybuilding base but i do have a history with weight lifting so i still do deadlifts, back/front squats, power cleans etc just not as much loading. reason i stepped away from weightlifting is i used to hyper extend through my lumbar when doing cleans... which lead to the demise of my L4 and L3, 6 months of physio and 3 years down the track i havent had the guts to load up on it so hoping the weight belt and changing my technique will let me do abit more loading.

Jenna - the importer tells me they only stock medium through to XXXL here in NZ. You could try Outbak Australia as they import from there. The other option is try a sports store like rebel for a York or similar BB belt.

sorry mate

Soooo time for me to eat my words, Squats a couple weeks ago, the Big Indian borrows my belt, straps it on and just as he walks out his Squat.... Ping !! Half a buckle flys off and almost hits the mirror :pfft:

Belt is still fine so it's just the buckle, think Steak must be right, bad batch of buckles, guna get a new buckle made and put on, easy fix

Although I have quite liked being man enough to wear Big Bertha..

if you are going to replace the buckle, get an engineer to make it thicker and in one piece. Weve had a few belts done like this.

Also you will have to remove the rivets so replace them and up-size the rivet and/or add a washer ...should be mint from there

ever since you handed yr one down to me, ive felt the Bowah of the darkside flow through it, and the buckle is sturdy as hell too
