trooper- iron maiden

kickstart My heart - motley crue

Shine on - Van halen

Good, solid 80's and 90's Rock there Vracula,

That riff from The Trooper plus Dickinsons vocals are great, Van Halen "Humans Being" from Twisters a powerful track and thats a Classic from the Crue.

Actually I posed to that Crue track at the Counties a few years ago then they kept using it as the pose down music for everybody..

I killed the prom queen - never land. Cool track love the into, made it my sig haha.

killswitch engaged - this fire burns. The opening bars amp me up, always rock this track (some may recognize it from CM punks entrance theme)

Parkway Drive - Cold day in hell. This band is fuckin awesome, love the breakdown on this track.

Bulldoze - Beatdown. Ive posted this before but this track is sick. Once those lyrics drop in Im ready to tear the gym to the fuckin ground.

Really into the hardcore stuff at the moment not to keen on deathcore but there is some half decent stuff out there. IMO the angrier you can get during a heavy weights sesh the better your going to perform.

I am still trying to find a gym with no music.... I put my earphones in sometimes just to block the sound out!

I'm finding this a bit lately! We've got a lot of different music tastes in the House, so often my playlists on the stereo may not go down to well with some others, and vice versa. But the times I've had some noise cancelling 'phones in when I'm not particularly feeling the music, it is almost silent, and I can focus much easier, leaving me more brain power (I guess!) to concentrate on smashing the lift out.

Kinda like in a comp I suppose, where generally it's pretty quiet (apart from the calls, but that's in the process), you can concentrate harder on just getting the lift.

However in saying that, nothing quite gets me going every time, without fail, than ACDC - Back in Black. If I'm having a tough day with the weights, I chuck this on, and I consistently demolish the following set.

Mos Def - Quiet Dog Bite Hard also gets an honorable mention, something about the rhythm of the song just makes me want to lift.

And you can't go past Survivor - Eye of the Tiger to get amped up.

If I could have a gym playlist repeating these 3 songs, I'd be absolutely ok with that
