The more than 2g of protein was a bad statement i think but i liked what she said here..

Both Ms Turnbull and Mr Harris said the usefulness of supplements such as protein powders was debatable, and even steroids were no "magic potions". "The higher you get up in rugby, ironically the fewer supplements people use.

I can without a doubt confirm that in professional rugby a player's stats are always slightly inflamed. Not always everyones but most. I have seen it and lived it and anyone else saying different well i say prove me wrong. Been there got the T shirt.

Its like almost watching wrestling. All of them have their stats higher than it realy is. And sorry to say even given SBW's genes not even he can keep muscle on with the regime he's got even at 2g of protein/BW. So i think 110kg Yeah Right. I wonder what 150kg will look like on a 5'10 white skinny fella? :pfft:

Well i think he's last bout i think he weighed in at =- 105-106kg. Now given he hasn't trained boxing specific i recon he might have gained another 1-2kg back. That still doent make him a 110kg now does it. Just sayin. But i also could be very wrong he might well be a legitimate 110kg but it still doesn't mean that players's stats are somewhat enlarged. Not much but still.

And quite frankly i dont give a crap what people might think of this statement, i know it's true, in a general sense that is.

Sweet no prob. Yeah i noticed the match the past weekend that he looks alot skinnier than he did a couple months ago. Granted still beefy but skinnier beefy. :pfft:

lol 110kg? I'm calling bullshit, more like 95kg im guessing

He's 6'3

Yup think everyone is missing the point on how tall he is, im 6ft 93kgs and look nothing like him, pushing 110kg I would say it would be fairly close possibly only a slight inflation.

lol - AGREED. After watching the boys testing I can say take 20kg off any bench presses quoted (when it gets near your chest its a bench press! :pfft: ) and 50kg off any squat (knee bends doesn't even sum it up for most!). The Oly lifts are pretty much as recorded.

Off course he can. My friend does the nutrition for a number of teams - rugby boys dont eat shit compared to the average bodybuilder. 2g of protein / kg body weight is ample for almost all athletes (probable exceptions being Pro BBers with AAS considerations and ludicrous amounts of lbm, and ultra-endurance athletes).

As a general comment its a shame to see the hating on SBW. Tall poppy much?! :nod: He has achieved so much at a young age - got my respect for what its worth.
