Is this a sign that my body is starting to come alive again and that my metabolic rate is speeding up? For the past three days now my appetite is out of control. I am so hungry all the time. I have to use all my control to stick to my meals and not just eat heaps. I'm even hungry after i have just eaten. Any thoughts?

The only time I still feel hungry after a meal is when my carbohydrates are too low. What ever you do don't starve yourself. Just do what feels right for a few weeks until your body recovers then reassess then.

The sad thing about starving yourself is that you've probably lost a fair bit of muscle as well, and this loss of muscle may hinder your fatloss.

It's very hard to formulate a diet through the forums. All I would say is up your protein - instead of two scoops of whey use three. Start taking flaxseed oil - I found this very beneficial in fatloss. Cut out all your sugars - have a cheat day in the weekend if you stick to the diet perfectly during the week. Keep your carbs at a reasonable level, but try to eat less carbs & more protein at night.

If you do this you will see changes. But just stick at it for at least a month. It seems like you are only waiting for a week then making drastic changes because you feel like you're not getting leaner. It will happen but it will take time.

All i can say is try to keep up your control. Your obviously getting back on track and the last thing you need is to fly off the other end of the scale and indulge yourself with endless cheat meals.

Stick with what your doing. Dont look to make changes this week even though your metabolism is indead beggining to wake up.

you sound exactly like me! very impatient when you don't see progreess immediately! As a person with a health degree I can easily tell people what and what not to do but it is very hard to tell that to yourself!!Be patient though consistency is necessary and you willo see results in time.
