How big can you get without steroids?

Hi guys

I have no intention of ever using steroids and would like to know what can be realistically achieved? Say for example, a guy that's 5'7" how heavy can he get under 10% BF? I would guess around 80kgs is the heaviest he could get naturally while staying around 10%BF?

Can you give me examples as well of big natural BBers?

Unless you have very good genetics I wouldnt be using the word 'big'. Ask some of the natural bodybuilders on here to post some pics and u might get an idea. Loochi is a good exapmle of what can be achieved with solid training and nutrition, not a huge guy but awesome shape and symmetry

Check this thread on BB.com for some idea. Of course the natural status of some may be questionable as you never can tell for sure, but there are some of the top natural competitors around in there. So even the guys who are big and legitimately natural are pretty genetically gifted IMO.

Would be doubtful about a few of those. :\

Big AND Ripped is hard to achieve

Yeah, guys like Skip LaCour and Jeff Willett don't have many people believing they were natural. Although you still get guys like Layne Norton who surely would be natural. It'd be too stupid for someone like him not to be since his whole career is based on natural bodybuilding and would be destroyed if caught out.

What also makes lots of these guys so good is their structure, some can look really big but they only come in at 80 something kg on stage. Small joints, waist etc create a great illusion.

I think Loochi is a great example someone mentioned on here. He can look pretty big for someone at such a light weight, and I doubt he's come anywhere near his natural potential.

Also Why would you never use them?

So I can make it safely to death...

You do realize that steroids can in fact benefit someones health, right?

Yes but i don't suffer from AIDS.

That being said, i first want to reach my true natural potential, and if my genetics prove to be unsatisfactory, i may consider.

I don't think you'd really reach your natural potential until you're about 40.

Not saying its he's not but I know a few stauch "Natural" competitors that are not actually that - and that have built careers advertising this. Both here and in the states.

How long is a pce of string bro --- my largest off season weight natural was 130kg ... heaviest in season as a natty 99kg @ 8%. At 130 I looked like the snow puff marshmello man but I was strong as f*ck. 240kg bench / 500kg leg press for reps etc etc ...

All things a relative though - time under bar = better technique and better gains in strength and size. The more you practice the better you get. As you make mistakes and learn you refine what works for you. Simple as that.

:)

Thanks for the good answer. Who is this Loochi? What are his stats? Any pics?

Why hassle the guy about no wanting to use? Believe it or not there are just as many of us who don't want to go down that road. We don't give those of you who use grief so give the same respect.

Fella go hard. Look after your diet, train hard and and when you think you have done that last rep..............do another. You will grow but things will take a little longer.
