thats not good any reason why his liver packed up??

Check out the anabolex thread... pretty sure it's the case mate.

It was his kidney. A combination of the diuretics/diet/drugs/intense training would be my guess.

There's actually two of them brah... "Kidneys"...

No point speculating on Luke's death, the coroners report will be out in 6 months or so.

R.I.P Luke, Condolences to his family & friends.

I agree speculation will get us nowhere... use google if you want to find out what kinds of things can damage kidneys. We'll have to wait for the coroner's report as nate225 suggests until we can know anything definitive.

Yep I know there are two.. silly me, need to proof read more.

In the reports people were talking about him rejecting a transplanted kidney... maybe it was only one kidney being transplanted.

Either way R.I.P Luke.

Kidney's are usually transplanted one at a time as far as I know. Who knows, I might be wrong... either way R.I.P Luke.

You're right IDW - we've got two peeps here that are donors atm.

Leaving Luke's situation aside often kidneys can be damaged by high blood pressure - which seems to be an issue for many BBers & heavier guys. I'd suggest this is a worthwhile thing to monitor regularly (get the work OSH nurse or your GP to do it).
