My most feared injury...f*ck

the risk is usually Associated with oh/uh grip (over hand under hand grip)

load your biceps on setup, and you reduce the risk....do deadlifts like ive seen some bodybuilders do ala jerk the bar off the floor with bent arms and your a tear waiting to happen

Yeah oh/uh Brah signing in, you think ripping to hard is the problem? Also as long as your arms are locked your ok right?

you'd minimize the risk bro, peservation is the game..i think the best example of a person pre loading the arms on the bar is andy bolton watch afew of his deadlift clips and you see what i mean

Yeah I do the same thing bro (except the bar doesn't bend lol) never had any niggles but still scares the shit out of me. Need my little biceps in tact Brah! :lol:

maybe im a fuckwit, but the last thing i would wanna load is the bis!

preloading the bar is great for avoiding the jerking motion which causes tears. but the only arm muscle youd want to be loading is the tris, to stop yourself from loading the bis at all............

Mind = blown lol
