Looking for leg press recommendation

Hi

I was in a car accident 9 months ago and am finishing my rehab. I need to get a leg press so that I can continue with my exercises at home. I don't want a big piece of equipment that does lots of things I just need a leg press.

Can anyone recommend one as I know zero about fitness equipment.

lol you may have to settle for body weight squats whilst holding something buddy. even the small leg press machines are pretty heavy set, and come with a heavy price tag.

He said that he doesn't want a big piece of equipment that does lots of things, just needs a leg press.

Leg presses are expensive if they are any good. There may be other equipment options that are just as good or you may be better off spending your money on a gym membership. A discussion with your physio or OT maybe a good place to start.

Just ask your physio or doctor when can go to the gym and find a gym that is not to expensive to join up plus one that is close by to where live including close to work.What others have said just stick to doing body weight squats or body weight lunges that's if doing body weight lunges are fine by your physio and good luck on your recovery.

Not sure bro. We have an old school one that is probably worth only $300 but they don't make them like that anymore so it's priceless. But again you would expect to pay $5k plus for a brand new one in Shinyland.

cheapest you can get is $1000 with a 450kg weight limit.

So thats a thousand bucks then Olympic weight plates ontop of that.

Well I can't find anything cheaper.

Yeah I do bro. For quads and also reverse hacks for hams.

As gym like Cityfitness off load their old equipment it is a good chance to get some equipment is that is often better than the new stuff IMO. And like I said much of it is priceless as you just can't buy it either new or used.
