Ripped Freak or a different Fat Burner

Hi Team - Im in the mix of putting together a cardio/cutting routine and was planning on supplementing this with a fat burner.

I think the Fat burner im leaning towards is Ripped Freak, what do you guy's think? is there a better one out there or will this be sufficent?

P.S I don't count calories I just try to eat clean with plenty of protein.

However i do have lapses in my diet for example; ill get up from my desk and walk to the printer and that EVIL provender snack box will catch my eye, i'll then proceed to stare at it looking whats available then return to my desk... after around 5minutes ill just be like F*ck it and go grab something lol.

Anyways that got abit off topic, post your opinions on what fat burner i should take :twisted:

If I was you I would start counting calories. It's an powerful tool for both cutting and bulking, if you know how many calories youre putting in each day and track your results you can start to work out how much you need to eat to lose or gain weight. It's pretty hit and miss otherwise.

Fat burners will generally contain caffiene or 1-3 dim or some kind of stimulant to give you a bit of an energy boost when your feeling sluggish, something to increase your metabolism slightly and l-carnitine to suppress your appetite. By themselves they won't do pretty much anything to your body. Use them when you need the pickup.

Once you have sorted out a decent diet with a calorie deficit and a training plan (cardio is not always necessary to Lose bodyfat) then look at fat burners. I have used Horleys Ripped Factors, Mitotropin, ripped Freak and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head and they all pretty much did the same thing. Just gave me a boost when I needed it and helped keep me thinking about eating all the time. Am about to start Thermojet next week. Good reviews. Let you know what I think of them. Good luck!

currently on thermojet sounds good

cheaper than the standard thermos... ive been taking 1 tablet twice a day, sumtimes 3. seems good to provide a energy boost and surpress ur hunger. reccommended dose is 2xtablets twice a day, but i dont feel the need for 4 a day just yet. ill just work up to it

Will slowly work into counting Cals, plan is to start writing down everything im eating from monday and on friday will work out the calories.

My diets pretty much pre-set so will see if what im currently eating is calorie deficit, also i will include some cardio into my current workout plan(looking for fastish results, 2 Months..)

Keep me in the loop about this thermo jet supp, im definatly looking at getting a fatburner to help control my cravings and provide me with some energy.

im on oxyelite atm and it's good (not sure if you can find it in nz anymore) tried ripped freak samples and thought they were good too , it's just a case of something works for person X and some may not work for person Y (in my case thermo jet didn't but heaps here its good for them)

but like the others said if you also count calories and up the cardio that's the best fat burner, been doing that and as of today I am at 83.5 down from 93.5 14 weeks ago (however as a small boned endomorph I reckon I got a long way to go :pfft: )

also i had heard that customs could take them if you ordered more than 3 months supply but when they arrived they had the little slip inside saying that customs had looked at it.

iherb.com is a great site, tonnes of stuff on there is way cheaper than in NZ, can get 1kg Creatine for like $30 NZD including shipping.

I'm also trying a few different thermogenics at the moment, need to lose fat.

iherb has also stopped shipping Melatonin in the last few months, I take it every night, you need a prescription to get it now. The only website that ships to NZ now is Worldwide Labs, and they will only ship a 3 month supply at a time..

I just stick to my EC stack. I've tried 1,3 DMA but it's too much of a head f*ck for me to take on an ongoing basis. I get really short tempered by the end of the week. It's a serotonin drainer for sure, I feel like I've got the terrible tuesdays after taking x. Also, 50mg of 1,3DMA + 200mg caffeine gets me feeling a bit too spaced for work in the morning although it does completely screw my appetite, so good in that respect.

OTC "fat burners" are either garbage, way over priced or both and clen gives me headaches like a tequila hangover. That pretty much just leaves albuterol and ephedrine. Albuterol I've tried once and it is good but one of the main reasons I take "fat burners" is to reduce my ravenous appetite and I don't find it is terribly effective at that. EC on the other hand (24mg E, 200mg C, 3x daily) gives me loads of energy, good mental alertness and really sodomizes my appetite. I also don't get the come down shit I do with 1,3 DMAA. Sometimes I find it hard to get to sleep but a cheeky cone usually takes care of that :nod:

Ephedrine is a bastard to get into NZ however (thanks meth cooks! :roll: ) and if they do catch you bringing it in they can probably come down on you harder than the average non-scheduled drug as it is a meth precursor. Not too sure about that though, would depend on the quantity as to whether they bothered to pursue it. Your average amount needed for a cutting cycle would probably not ring alarm bells too loudly but they would definitely swipe it. I think I've jsut been lucky. It was hard enough finding a legit place that will even consider shipping to NZ these days!

So yeah... Not recommending you try and import it but if you do know a way, it's still king IMO

Just recieved some Lipo6 extreme from iherb.com.

Looking forward to starting tomorrow, and will keep you posted on whether they're any good or not.

Would have rather brought from a NZ supplier but ended up saving $35 on my whey protein powder and $30 on the Lipo6. Even with postage! Ordered early Saturday am, arrived this afternoon (Monday).

Something with DMAA would be your best bet now days as a stim or fat burner, the most powerful, legal(ish) stim you could buy OTC really. And can double as a pre workout pill! :twisted: :twisted:

Something like turbos are a great solution or I like green tea as well. Capped or bagged.

But fat burners are like cleaning spray.

What really cleans a dirty benchtop? The pressure and friction of you apply cleaning it? Or the superoxypoweredstainremover spray you paid $8 for ?

The act of wiping the bench is the work you need to do but the spray can help a little :P

Do the work, and if you want the extra help from a fat burner, go for it.
