So i'm completely new here, just thought i'd stop in and make an introduction :P I'm 20 years old currently studying personal training at the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness. I love it! Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into the same field I am. My grandfather Stan Hallmond up until very recently was the President of the Northland Powerlifting Federation. He is a life member and an amazing coach. My grandmother Julie Hallmond holds 4+ world records, 2 of which still stand. My mother Shona Anderson started Powerlifting at the very young age of 16 while my father Gerard Anderson was lucky enough to have lifting take him as far as Texas, America. He is a current Bodybuilder, coming 3rd in his competition, an amazing all rounder and my inspiration :) Lifting has taken my family all over the world as well as all over New Zealand. They mean everything and are the reason I am doing what I do! I will continue to post photos up of my family, Powerlifting events and news paper articles. Any questions or helpful tips to get me on my way would be greatly appreciated, thanks! http://www.northernadvocate.co.nz/news/hallmond-pulled-his-weight-for-region/1046451/
